For all questions concerning data protection as well as for the assertion of your data subjects’ rights please contact us via mail or e-mail or by telephone.

2) Contact data of the data protection officer

Currently there is no obligation to appoint a data protection officer, a voluntary designation of a data protection officer has not taken place.

3) Origin of the data is MDS (Managed Document Services) analysis and optimization software which –based on the customer’s current copier- printer- and scanner landscape- creates optimization suggestions for these devices The database we implemented in the software for this purpose contains only data relating to devices and supplies but no personal data.

We provide you with the software in the profile of your choice –if requested in a customized version- and, depending on the contractual agreement, provide related support services. You have the option of processing personal data in addition to device data and other parameters (definition of "processing" see Art. 4 No. 2 DS-GVO).

The processing of personal data by us is not part of the agreement, but access to personal data in the context of support services cannot be excluded.
Personal data processed by us during the performance of the contract we receive exclusively from you.

4) Categories of personal data

Relating to the performance of the contract we store the following data categories:

person master data, communication data and contract master data

Additionally, each user can decide individually which data categories he wishes to process in the software. We have no influence on this.

5) Purposes of the processing and legal bases for the processing

We process your data to fulfill the contractual agreement with you. The legal basis for this is Art. 6 para. 1 DSGVO.

6) Recipients or categories of recipients receiving your data

Your personal data are stored solely for the purpose of fulfilling our contractual agreement; there is no disclosure of your data for other purposes or to third parties.

As far as we entrust third parties with the provision of services that are connected with our software, we conclude with them an order processing contract corresponding to the data protection regulations.

As far as we use service providers from a third country (which means outside the European Union (EU) or the European Economic Area (EEA)) to fulfill our contractual obligations, this only happens if the special requirements of Art. 44 et seq. DSGVO are met. Processing will only be provided based on specific guarantees, such as the officially recognized declaration of an EU-complying level of data protection or the observance of officially recognized special contractual obligations (so-called "standard contractual clauses").

7) Duration of storage of the data

Your data will only be stored for as long as necessary to fulfill our contractual agreement or to comply with any legally required retention requirements.

8) Reference to data subject rights

You have the right to information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing, data portability of your personal data stored by us. You can object to the processing and have the right not to be subjected to an automated decision. You can revoke your consent at any time without cause. If we fail to meet your data protection obligations in a timely manner, you have the right to complain to a data protection supervisory authority.

9) Adaptation of this Privacy Policy
